Good to know

Before you bring it to the pod.

Does Soul Dial need a phone or companion app?

No. Life and score tracking, counters, timers and local wireless sync run on Soul Dial itself. Wi-Fi is optional for updates, library downloads and cloud features. An account is only needed for features such as your online dashboard and paired integrations.

Do we need one Soul Dial per player?

No. One Soul Dial can track 1–6 players in a shared Arena layout, or show a focused Solo view. Multiple Dials can sync directly, and each device can choose its own view. Seat protection and view-only options let you decide who can edit.

What can it track?

Life totals, commander damage, poison, Monarch, Day/Night, player and game counters, turn order, timers, game duration and an action history. Dice, coin flips and starting-player randomisation are built in too.

How long does the battery last?

Expect around 5–6 hours of continuous play while syncing multiple devices, or 10+ hours without syncing. Battery life varies with brightness, wireless activity and use. USB-C play-and-charge support lets you keep playing with a charger or power bank connected.

Is setup slow at the start of every game?

Use Quick Start for a fast game, or reuse saved players, decks, commanders, colours and game preferences. Commander artwork and partner commanders help personalise Magic games, while themes let you choose the look of your Dial.

Will it receive updates?

Yes. Check for firmware updates over Wi-Fi, or use the Soul Dial USB updater on a compatible computer. Updates bring improvements and new functionality. Core tracking and direct local sync do not need an internet connection during play.

Which games does Soul Dial support?

Built-in modes include Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana, Riftbound, Flesh & Blood, Star Wars Unlimited, Sorcery, Palworld TCG, One Piece TCG and Custom. The Game Type Library adds downloadable community trackers. Available controls vary by game; keep your firmware updated.

Can I create a mode for my own game?

Yes. Create a custom tracker on Soul Dial Cloud with starting scores, counters and scoring rules, then share its code. Browse and install public library games on your Dial without signing in. Each Dial can keep up to 16 library games installed.

What does Soul Dial Cloud add?

Your optional online dashboard brings together completed games, statistics, players and decks. You can share history and choose summary or full-history syncing across linked devices. Cloud features need an account and Wi-Fi; local play remains available offline.

Where can I learn the controls?

Start with our Soul Dial owner guide for Arena controls, attacks, counters and turn timers. For firmware updates, visit the Soul Dial USB updater.

Ready for game night?

Make the table feel like the main event again.

Start with one Dial for up to six players, or choose a synced setup for your regular pod. Pick your colour and add a carry case for the trip to game night.

So with my soul dial, when I rotate the dial sometimes it registers sometimes it doesn’t, my buddy’s is spot on from the pre release, but sometimes it’ll jump without hearing the click or over shoot if that makes any sense

So I absolutely adore the product, the only reason I'm giving it four instead of 5 stars is I know there's room for improvement and I'm excited to see what the company does to make it to 5 stars. As for purchasing, I live in the US so I was quite impatient, but all four dials arrived with zero damage, and a decent starting charge. Had to manually update the firmware out of the box but that's a minor point for someone like me.

Received my soul dial in the mail, opened it and went to take it out of the case and the screen was hanging off. The glue holding the screen in place was insufficient. Talked to customer service to get a replacement sent out and they told me I should by this double sided adhesive and fix it myself…. Tried it and it did not work. Wrote them again asking for help to exchange and got no response. Don’t waste your time with this company! Pour craftsmanship and even worse customer service! Had a whole play group going to buy them until they saw what I have gone through.

Awesome! Has so many games on it and is so crisp

I'll give it a 4 star I used it twice and it worked great and looks cool. But, when I went to use it a third time the display fell off from the soul dial (keep in mind I also have the case for it and kept it stored in there when not in use and on a shelf). I'm sure if I reached out they would most likely send me a new one, but I dont want to go through all the hassle there may be.
Update: changed my review to 5 star. The team at SoulDial reached out to me and took it upon themselves to correct the issue. Shows they genuinely care about their product and customers, would highly recommend this product.

The craftsmanship is amazing. Has a nice, weighted feel to it; doesn’t feel cheap/lightweight. You can tell this was built with exceptional detail and thought. I wish it was a little bigger, I tend to hit an option I didn’t want. I wonder if this could respond to a tablet-like pen, might help with the precision of pressing the correct area. I also wish it had some sort of indicator while charging and when it’s done charging. There is no light showing that it’s charging or finished charging. After battery is depleted, I have to wait for it to have enough charge to turn it back on and go to settings to see what the charge level is. Maybe a future patch could add the ability for a light or some sort of notification showing the charge level while charging. Also could benefit from having some sort of guide/book of instructions. Other than that, it’s absolutely great. I did get it early, so was less expensive than current asking price. Not sure if I’d buy it at current price, even though it is of high-quality, the charging aspect leaves a lot to be desired.

Love my Soul Dial. I was the first one at my shop to get one and have loved showing it off to my friends and play group. Everyone that's had mine to play with for a few minutes loves it and goes to order one for themselves. The only critiques I've heard from it is making it a little bigger for more screen space to track commander damage from each source and other counters more easily in the screen.

Awesome device works exactly like advertised and will continue to use for Thursday night magic. Only thing is if it was just a little larger.

The only life tracker that tracks everything except my bad decisions.
I bought The Soul Dial thinking it would just keep track of my life total. Instead, it somehow became the command center for every Commander game I play. Life? Check. Commander damage? Check. Poison counters, experience counters, energy, treasures, and all the random nonsense Wizards keeps inventing? Somehow... also check.
The build quality is fantastic, it's incredibly satisfying to use, and it gets passed around the table every game because everyone wants to fiddle with it. My only complaint is that it still refuses to stop my friends from top-decking exactly what they need or remind me about my own triggers.
If you're tired of using dice that inevitably get bumped across the table or a phone app that dies halfway through a game, do yourself a favor and pick one up. Your board state may still be a disaster, but at least your counters won't be.

I heard about The Soul Dial from Davisher, and received mine a couple of weeks ago. It's been awesome to use for my commander pods. I've used it in casual and cEDH, with the whole table joining me in using it. I like that I'm able to track commander damage easily, and adjusting life totals up or down is simple, with methods to suit spinners or clickers.

The battery has been fantastic so far. I've played about 5-7 games, all taking at least 45 minutes, with a full runtime in excess of 6 hours, and it's still over 50% charged. Big fan of that, since I do occasionally participate in larger tournaments and I don't have any concern about it dying mid-game.

I am enjoying my soul dial. It has been a bit difficult getting use to having such a small device but storage is easy. I am glad I don't have to use my cellphone to track each game. I have connected my device to my nephew's device and we both wish that it would allow us to properly keep track of ourself and another person's life the way it does for 4 different dials.
We didn't expect the old school computer games that came with it but we're genuinely glad it does have them.
Keep up the good work.

Love it. Arrived sooner than expected; and my buddy loved it so much he ordered his own. We're hoping to have enough for a pod at any given time when we hit up the lgs.

The Soul Dial has quickly become an essential accessory for any serious Magic: The Gathering player. It has become a permanent part of our Commander tables, where games can last for hours, and it performs flawlessly every time.

One of the things that impressed me the most is its battery life. It lasts a surprisingly long time, so I never have to worry about it running out of power during long Commander sessions. The build quality is excellent, it's easy to use, and it makes keeping track of life totals much more enjoyable and convenient.

I 1000% recommend it to every Magic player who truly respects the game. Once you start using a Soul Dial, it's hard to imagine playing Commander without it! ^^

I wasn't sure what to expect exactly when I ordered the Soul Dial but my expectations were exceeded by a whole lot! The Dial is extremely well made with good materials that you can actually FEEL and see! It works great and does even more than I thought! I'm sold and I've been telling all my friends about it. I really like the Soul Dial and I'm happy to have one!

I have yet to go to my LGS and display this freaking awesome product.
I have gone thru all the features and have to say, this is a must have for any Maguc: The Gathering Player. Hell any TCG Player.
The recharge feature, the easy tap and dial to do the life counters.
Even the counters for Experience, Poison, and literally over a dozen different counters.
If you havent gotten THE SOUL DIAL!
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING ON?
Order 1 for yourself and be the envy of your play group or LGS!
Or buy your private group 1 for Christmas, Birthday or just cause youre all best friends and love playing the Games.
Dont wait, they sell out quick. I order min inMay and got it delivered in July, cause it sold out.
Dont walk! Run to your phone, tablet, computer or ask you mommy and daddy to let you on the internet before bed and get your SOUL DIAL!!!

The pod I play with loves it. The feedback from rotating it to make their life totals go down is euphoric.
